Bridge & Tunnel makes new products from used jeans and other materials. In addition to the sustainable aspect of the production, the label also creates jobs for refugees and the long-term unemployed in the Hamburg-Wilhelmsburg district.

The social design label Bridge & Tunnel sponsored by Aurubis is an exemplary project when it comes to the topic of the circular economy. The small company near the Hamburg site connects recycling and immigration in an authentic way. Bridge & Tunnel makes new products from used jeans and other materials. In addition to the sustainable aspect of the production, the label also creates jobs for refugees and the long-term unemployed. The project promotes handicraft skills, language, and integration.

The conscientious use of resources is a matter of course for Aurubis as well. By sponsoring these projects, Aurubis supports knowledge transfer and the participation of socially disadvantaged people in our neighborhood.
