Aurubis COO Tim Kurth elected to the Board of the International Wrought Copper Council 

Tim Kurth, COO of Aurubis, has been elected to the Board of the International Wrought Copper Council (IWCC).

The IWCC brings together companies from across the global copper and copper alloy industry. It fosters collaboration, provides reliable market data and industry insights, and represents the industry’s voice in key international organizations.

On the Board, Tim Kurth will contribute Aurubis’ perspective on secure raw material supply via primary and secondary routes. Together with his fellow Board members, he will working on the future of the copper industry.

It is a core material of modern infrastructure and industrial value chains — which makes exchange across borders and across the value chain a necessity,” says Tim Kurth. “No single company or market can solve the challenges our industry faces.
