Our corporate headquarters and our largest site, with a total of more than 2,840 employees, are located in Hamburg. Today, the plant is one of the most modern and environmentally friendly copper smelters in the world.
Our group's recycling center is located in Lünen near Dortmund, where around 740 employees process complex recycling materials.
The Stolberg site near Aachen, with around 440 employees, manufactures copper and copper alloy products for the global market.
With over 100 employees, Deutsche Giessdraht in Emmerich am Rhein is the specialist for the production of continuous cast wire rod.
With around 50 employees and many years of experience, RETORTE is a specialist in the manufacture of selenium products, which are used in the glass and animal feed industries, among others.
With around 500 employees, Aurubis Beerse operates a wide range of processes and technologies for recycling and refining complex, low-value recycled materials into non-ferrous metals, metal products, and minerals.
Our plant in Olen, Belgium, is a central location for the Group's Western European markets. Around 700 employees produce anodes, cathodes, casting wire rod, and specialty wire there.
The sites in Pirdop and Sofia, Bulgaria, are our link to the Southeast European market. Aurubis Bulgaria employs over 1,000 people and produces copper anodes, copper cathodes, and sulfuric acid.
In Pori, Finland, more than 300 employees manufacture an extensive portfolio of rolled products made of copper and copper alloys for civil engineering and construction.
With around 100 employees, Aurubis Berango focuses exclusively on complex and low-value recycling materials for the production of black copper, solder, and Elmix®.
With a new recycling plant in the USA, around 220 Aurubis employees are doing pioneering work in the USA.
