Copper Mark Certification

Aurubis AG has officially started the process for certification according to the sustainability seal 'The Copper Mark' for the Deutsche Giessdraht GmbH. The Copper Mark is a leading quality assurance system to promote responsible production practices in the metallic raw materials industry and covers environmental, social and governance (ESG) criteria.

As part of this commitment, Deutsche Giessdraht will undergo an external, independent assessment from Nov 4 - Nov 6, 2025, to ensure that its operations meet the standards of The Copper Mark. The site will be assessed in the following areas

Environmental protection and sustainable use of resources

Responsible sourcing of raw materials

Human rights and labor rights

Health and safety

Community engagement and stakeholder involvement

Business integrity and governance
