KG, a 50 % subsidiary of Aurubis Stolberg. As the world's leading pre-rolling mill with its own foundry for copper alloys, Schwermetall produces pre-rolled strip. The cold rolling mill and the foundry for special alloys at Aurubis Stolberg supply the end products: rolled and wire products that meet the highest precision requirements. The certified quality management system in accordance with IATF, ISO 9001, the systematic energy management in accordance with ISO 50001, and the training and commitment of Aurubis Stolberg employees guarantee consistently high product and environmental protection standards. From ore concentrate to strip and wire – as Europe's largest copper producer, Aurubis AG covers the entire value chain in copper processing.
