Health and safety days in "Aurubis Bulgaria”
Bulgaria | Thursday, May 8, 2025

In April, Aurubis Bulgaria held the traditional "Health and Safety Days" dedicated to raising awareness and improving working conditions in the company. More than 200 participants took active part in various events and demonstrations within the initiative.
The events started with an official opening by Dimo Kirilov, Production Director, and Yuliy Marinov, Operations Manager Health and Safety at Work. Ioanna Pankova, physiotherapist and trainer, presented the important topic of "Workplace Performance and Efficiency", demonstrating closed kinetic chain exercises aimed at addressing physical problems arising from incorrect or static work posture.
The team of Admix Ltd. presented the impact of drugs on human perception through special simulation glasses. They show the effects of disorientation, delayed reactions and distorted vision - a real demonstration of the risks associated with drug use.
As part of a month dedicated to health and safety, employees also took part in a practical demonstration of first aid in the workplace organised by the First Aid School team. The scenarios were realistic and the demonstrations extremely useful, with attendees actively asking questions, which the instructors answered with professionalism and care.
Employees had the opportunity to participate in another key event aimed at improving the safety and efficiency of the work environment. MSA Safety specialists presented innovative safety solutions and equipment for working at height and in confined spaces via a demonstration truck that attracted the interest of dozens of attendees.
"Aurubis Bulgaria believes that health and safety starts with knowledge and care - both for yourself and your colleagues and partners in the work process.
