"Aurubis Bulgaria continues the initiative " The Beautiful Srednogorie" with support for cleaner and greener urban spaces

Within the framework of its long-term initiative "The Beautiful Srednogorie" this year "Aurubis Bulgaria" continues to support activities aimed at improving public spaces in the municipalities of Pirdop, Zlatitsa and Anton. The initiative, launched in 2023, unites the company's efforts for a cleaner, greener and more maintained urban environment in the Srednogorie region.

In the spring of 2025, with the assistance of Aurubis Bulgaria, nearly 11,000 m of street network were washed in the municipality of Zlatitsa and 62 acres of lawns in the town were trimmed. The activities are part of the annual campaign to maintain cleanliness and improve the urban environment.

This year, over 6 000  plants have been provided to kindergartens and schools in the three municipalities, as well as for landscaping public areas and central areas. 

"The Beautiful Srednogorie" has been established as a platform for sustainable cooperation between Aurubis Bulgaria and local authorities. The company remains committed to initiatives that contribute to the preservation of nature and the creation of pleasant living conditions for people.
