Investments for the future: sustainability recognition for Aurubis Bulgaria

“Aurubis Bulgaria” was awarded by ESGnews.bg for its large-scale investment program "Investments for Progress. Bulgaria 2027". The initiative brings together five strategic areas and envisages investments of BGN 800 million by 2027, focused on modernization, sustainable production and social responsibility. The award was presented during a special event organized on the occasion of the premiere of the documentary Beyond Zero, dedicated to businesses in transition to a low-carbon future.

The award was accepted by Alexandra Vangelova and Elgoni Nikola from the team of Aurubis Bulgaria. In parallel, the company took part in the first edition of Enterprise Innovation & Tech Awards, organized by Enterprise magazine. The forum brought together representatives of industry, the technology sector, the scientific community and institutions to recognize the most innovative achievements in various fields.

During the ceremony, Milen Kadiyski, Head of Research & Development at Aurubis Bulgaria, presented the awards in the category “Best Technology and Innovation in Manufacturing”. The company “Simobotix” Ltd. was awarded with a gold prize for its development “Simobotix”. A silver prize was awarded to Tsarina Winery for the Scepter system, while bronze prizes were awarded to Bright Stock Ltd. for an innovative packaging solution and to Schneider Electric Bulgaria for a 3D spare parts printing project.

Both participations underline Aurubis Bulgaria's consistent commitment to innovation, sustainability and active dialogue with the industrial and scientific community. The company consolidates its role as a leading factor in the transformation of the Bulgarian economy towards a more environmentally friendly, efficient and responsible future.
