Nordic Royal is an alloy of copper, aluminum and zinc, with a rich golden through-color.

Combinations for visual effects

Nordic Royal can also be combined with other surface finishes, e.g. Nordic Bronze or Nordic Brown to create various visual effects.

Naturally evolving copper

Ongoing changes will continue over time with all Nordic Products depending on the local environment. The material has a thin protective oxide layer which thickens when exposed to the atmosphere. As a result, the surface retains its golden color and simply loses some of its sheen as the oxide layer thickens with exposure to the atmosphere to give a matte finish.
