Nordic Green – pre-patinated copper

Nordic Green material is pre-patinated at the Aurubis mill to immediately provide the same green patina that naturally develops over time in the environment.

Unrivaled design freedom

Different intensities of patina flecks can be created revealing some of the dark-oxidized background material, enabling architects to determine the type and intensity of the green patina with choices of Nordic Green Living surface finishes.

Aurubis also develops special individual levels of patination to meet the design requirements or to match historically patinated copper on existing buildings.

Combinations for visual effects

Nordic Green surface finishes can be combined with each other or with other surface finishes to create various visual impacts, e.g. with Nordic Royal.

Naturally evolving copper

Ongoing changes will continue over time with all Nordic Products depending on the local environment. As a result, just like natural patina, Nordic Green and Nordic Blue undergo continuous changes through environmental exposure dependent upon local atmospheric and rainfall conditions.
