Aurubis and NKT strengthen partnership with multi-year supply agreement

Aurubis and NKT have entered into a multi-year agreement for the supply of copper products across the European value chain. Under the agreement, Aurubis will supply several NKT production sites in Europe with low-carbon copper Wire ROD primarily used in high-voltage cables.

Statement on the sector decarbonization approach of the Copper Mark

Aurubis welcomes the Sectoral Decarbonization Approach (SDA) as an important step for the copper sector. At the same time, Aurubis sees a need for refinement to ensure the approach adequately reflects integrated production processes, co-products, and robust data.
