Aurubis is one of the leading suppliers for copper and brass strip for heat exchanger applications, utilizing soft soldering, copper brazing foil and CuproBraze® technology.

Aurubis fin copper, tube strip, tank strip, header strip and brazing foil are further processed into radiators, industrial heat exchangers, heaters, charge air coolers (CACs), oil coolers, CPU coolers, inverter coolers in hybrid vehicles, climate control systems/cooling systems, brazed plate heat exchangers, AC systems and HVACR (heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration).

Brazed copper/brass heat exchangers in heat transfer systems in vehicles and equipment such as on/off-highway trucks, mining vehicles, construction and agricultural equipment, gensets, industrial engines, locomotives and other off-road diesel engines are fabricated from thin copper or brass strip made of anneal-resistant alloys. The CuproBraze® technology is used to produce highly efficient heat exchangers and excels in the critical performance criteria such as thermal performance, size, durability, corrosion resistance, maintainability, environment and emissions and eliminates any fluxing stage for brazing.
