Environmental Report
We have achieved a further milestone in Aurubis’s environmental policy with the harmonisation of key environmental protection factors in the Group. For the first time uniform standards have been defined, on the basis of which environmental protection in the new Group can be developed further. The harmonised key environmental protection factors were audited and directly certified at the beginning of 2009 in Olen, Pirdop and Avellino by the TÜV (Technical Inspection Agency).
The Environmental Report 2009 thus covers the key factors for the Olen, Pirdop and Avellino sites for the first time and the updated environmental declaration of the Lunen and Hamburg sites.
