Environmental protection in the Aurubis Group
Aurubis Hamburg has a long-standing environmental management system that is certified in accordance with EMAS and ISO 14001. The annual audit by the TÜV is a good opportunity for us to have the successful implementation of environmental protection and the resultant successes at the sites confirmed by an external third party.
In the enlarged Aurubis Group, we have created a system at the beginning of 2009 to determine uniform key indicators in environmental protection. The environmental standards for the Hamburg, Pirdop, Olen and Avellino have thus been harmonised and a uniform environmental standard defined.
