Quality Assurance
The quality management system for the production and distribution of AURUBIS FOXROD has been certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance. The use of state-of-the-art computer and quality assurance systems ensures optimal monitoring of the processes and products. Each coil is appraised and subjected to an extensive stringent quality inspection, such as:
- hydrogen resistance
- conductivity
- oxygen content
- chemical composition
Samples of each coil are retained for subsequent inspections. The requirements of ASTM B 49, DIN EN 1977 and DIN EN 17933 are surpassed. The key features are documented in test reports or, on request, in inspection certificates.
