The largest production site and the administrative headquarters are located in Hamburg. More than 2,000 employees produce cathodes, wire rod, continuous cast shapes, precious metals and specialty products, such as sulphuric acid and iron silicate stone. Established as Norddeutsche Affinerie AG in 1866, it is one of the most modern and environmentally friendly copper smelters in the world.
